To establish a program to promote a hunger‑free community and to improve the development of attitudes toward healthier lifestyles, wellness and better social coexistence, in a way to fight poverty in some of our poorest urban and rural areas. Working with SDG number three (good health and wellbeing), improved nutrition, and sustainable agriculture to obtain fresh produce for healthier nutrition.

Member Duties:
The VISTA member will assist in environmental planning projects that benefit the community. Projects will include the coordination of the creation of vegetable gardens, a compost system to improve environmental health and safety in vulnerable communities, and the development of a project that guarantees the empowering and food security of young people to acquire a healthier lifestyle. This includes creating protocols, policies, and management procedures, and collecting and completing data to document the public health problem, particularly the hunger issue among young people.
Program Benefits:
Health coverage, relocation allowance, training, choice of education award or end‑of‑service stipend, living allowance, stipend, childcare assistance if eligible, and education award upon successful completion of service.
