Base pay range $75.00/hr - $95.00/hr

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be a hands‑on builder of scalable data pipelines and architectures that enable advanced analytics and business intelligence. This role is 90-95% engineering and 5-10% architecture—ideal for someone who grew from software/database engineering into data engineering and loves coding.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Azure, Snowflake, FiveTran, dbt, and Terraform.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows and ensure data quality with tools like Metaplane.
Collaborate with BI teams to deliver Power BI dashboards; familiarity with Figma is a plus.
Apply best practices in cloud architecture (Azure preferred) and data governance.
Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
Data Warehouse: Snowflake
Integration & Transformation: FiveTran, dbt
Monitoring: Metaplane
Languages: SQL, Python
Must-Have Qualifications
Hands‑on coding with SQL and Python; intermediate Snowflake expertise.
Proven ability to design and implement dimensional models.
Experience with Power BI and cloud‑based data platforms.
Self‑starter with initiative, polished communication, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred
Exposure to CI/CD for data pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
Familiarity with data quality frameworks and monitoring tools.
