About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to lead the deployment and support of advanced technologies. You’ll drive a “Cloud First” strategy, integrating SaaS and IaaS solutions with on‑prem infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable operations.
What You’ll Do
Manage the full infrastructure lifecycle: design, deployment, testing, and maintenance.
Configure and deploy servers, storage, networking, and endpoint devices across multiple sites.
Implement virtualization solutions using VMware vCenter, Microsoft Hyper‑V, and Azure IaaS.
Migrate workloads from physical to virtual environments.
Maintain cybersecurity best practices, including access control and centralized authentication.
Lead incident response and ensure compliance with operational standards.
Administer Office 365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive) and SCCM for centralized management.
Support specialized business systems and safety‑sensitive environments.
Perform after‑hours on‑call duties and maintain robust backup solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience/certifications).
Experience: 10+ years in infrastructure management and administration.
5+ years in infrastructure project implementation.
Expertise in virtualization, SAN/NAS storage, backup technologies, and hybrid cloud environments.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Server OS, Active Directory, VMware, Hyper‑V, Azure, and Office 365.
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell) and familiarity with SCCM and SolarWinds.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and apply critical thinking under pressure.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Azure Administrator Associate
Additional Requirements
Valid driver’s license (state‑specific within 60 days of hire).
Ability to pass federal background screening for secure facility access.
Classified as essential personnel.
