Description SAIC is seeking an

Configuration Analyst

to join our team supporting our Space Systems Command (SSC) customer in

Albuquerque, New Mexico . You will be involved in all aspects of configuration management and will partner with task order and program managers as well as government staff and mission partners to maintain an effective configuration management (CM) program. The ideal candidate will have an engineering understanding and be able to work with system owners and cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, quality, test, configuration, and supply chain) to implement hardware and software acquisition, protection, maintenance and retention policies, standards and procedures that align with DoD standards and strategy. You will become a critical team member for early risk identification through the reliability, maintainability and availability (RMA) process and analysis and participation and engagement with the risk and quality management processes. The position entails articulate communication for briefing, reporting and leading working groups with both internal and external customers.

Duties may include:

Collaborate with engineering teams in the performance of CM tasks and in the execution of configuration control

Participate in engineering and governance boards, forums, and activities impacting system baselines

Analyze, update, and maintain technical baselines in support of interoperability, integration of IT services/systems, and IT governance for SSC and the EDIS program

Support the development and maintenance of multiple system baselines in Jira®, Confluence®, and Microsoft SharePoint

Support configuration change tracking and documentation control; efforts include (but are not limited to) concepts of operation, requirements identification and documentation, preliminary and detailed system definition

Analyze all hardware and software lifecycles for maintenance, serviceability, end of service and end of life tracking and resource requirements at the technical and programmatic levels

Review licenses and/or contracts to ensure that hardware and software equipment is covered by the contract and properly documented

Maintain the procedural approach of the Lifecycle Sustainment Plan and the engineering rigor of the maintenance process

Qualifications Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience; 4 additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI

Experience using Jira®, Confluence®, and Microsoft SharePoint.

Work experience in building and maintaining Configuration Management Database environments

Desired Qualifications

Experience in maintaining baselines using Agile and DevOps methodologies

Familiarity with asset and license management and materials procurement

Strong understanding of the engineering processes associated with sustainment RMA, early identification and recommendation during requirements and design definition stages

Familiarity with sustainment standards (i.e. ISO, IEEE, MIL)
