Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or relevant field (preferred)
Responsibilities
Maintain CM documentation for systems and assets, including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records.
Establish a central document repository (e.g., Confluence) for CM documentation within two weeks.
Develop and maintain configuration baselines for IT programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Create and enforce CM plans for hardware, software, and infrastructure, aligning with government requirements.
Manage change processes, tracking change requests, impact assessments, and change notices in Jira and CM tools.
Maintain inventory records for IT assets and manage equipment custodian documentation.
Oversee software licensing documentation, costs, and renewals, ensuring compliance with DoD policies.
Analyze proposed changes to system designs, assessing impacts on documentation and baselines.
Coordinate with stakeholders to review and validate CM documentation for compliance.
Attend project and configuration meetings to ensure documentation meets customer needs.
Mentor team members on document management and CM best practices.
Education Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or relevant field (preferred)
Certification Required
CompTIA Security+
Active Secret Clearance required
Certified Document Management Professional (CDMP), or ICM Configuration Management II (preferred)
Experience Required
5+ years in document management or configuration management, with expertise in IT systems and assets.
Knowledge
Knowledge of NIST/DoD compliance and software licensing management.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) for future transitions.
Expertise in Atlassian tools, identity/access management, and cloud‑aware documentation (preferred)
Skills
Excellent proficiency in CM tools, Jira, Confluence, and Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Abilities
Strong problem solving, communication, and coordination abilities.
