Program Planner – PEKO Precision Products
PEKO Precision Products is a full‑service, debt‑free, privately‑owned contract manufacturer with over 50 years embedded in the Rochester, NY community. We deliver new product development strategies for product commercialization and provide solutions in medical, industrial, defense and renewable energy industries.
Role Overview Your role as Program Planner coordinates and oversees the planning and execution of manufacturing programs and projects. You collaborate with cross‑functional teams, track progress, manage timelines and ensure successful completion of programs.
Essential Functions
Analyze, coordinate, and drive scheduling requirements to procure materials for production within strict timeframes.
Expedite parts to meet production schedules from internal and external suppliers in cooperation with Procurement.
Identify schedule‑related risks and work with cross‑functional teams to resolve.
Monitor production schedules, daily inventories, daily job status and component receipts.
Provide planning documentation, including baseline schedules, updates and reports.
Required Qualifications
Previous experience with program costing and reporting.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Management.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment.
ERP experience.
APICS certification.
