Responsibilities About the role: The Lead Data Scientist – AI Focused role is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions, including Generative and Agentic AI Agents, to support key business functions. This position emphasizes hands‑on technical leadership in AI and machine learning, ensuring scalable and secure implementations. The role collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams to drive AI adoption and innovation, while maintaining alignment with organizational priorities and compliance standards.

In This Role, You Will

Lead the development and deployment of AI‑driven solutions, with a strong emphasis on Generative and Agentic AI technologies.

Collaborate with Data Science, IT, and business teams to implement scalable AI solutions.

Support enterprise AI initiatives under the guidance of senior leadership, focusing on operationalization and adoption.

Conduct research and experimentation on emerging AI technologies to enhance organizational capabilities.

Mentor and coach junior data scientists in AI methodologies and best practices.

Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards in all AI implementations.

Monitor and optimize AI model performance; develop dashboards and reporting tools for stakeholders.

Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives leveraging AI technologies.

What makes you a dream candidate?

Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, including Generative AI and Agentic AI

Knowledge of advanced statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning algorithms

Familiarity with AI frameworks and platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, LLaMA, LangChain, and AutoGPT

Understanding of data governance, privacy standards, and compliance requirements

Solid understanding of IT architectural patterns, system integration, and enterprise technology stacks

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and best practices for secure and scalable API design

Awareness of data flow, security, and compliance considerations in system implementations

Hands‑on experience with machine learning and AI platforms (Python, R, SAS) and modern AI frameworks

Proficiency in programming languages and tools for AI development and integration

Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills; able to translate business problems into AI‑driven solutions

Effective communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex AI concepts to non‑technical audiences

Ability to design and implement API‑driven solutions for seamless integration with enterprise systems

Experience collaborating with IT and engineering teams to ensure AI/ML solutions align with existing infrastructure

Proficient in troubleshooting and optimizing data pipelines and system interfaces for robust performance

Experience Qualifications

Master’s Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Computational Science or Engineering Required

5‑7 years in related field or function required

5‑7 years leading through mentorship in related field preferred

5‑7 years leading projects and initiatives through influence preferred
