Program Manager Location: Valley Green, PA (Harrisburg Area)

Responsibilities

Customer communication, project planning, budgeting, and execution.

Provide technical leadership for new product development projects with high complexity.

Manage projects to ensure products/technologies are delivered according to specifications, timing, and budget.

Lead project team and contribute to scope and objectives.

Serve as communication interface to customer for status, schedule, requirements.

Provide technical leadership to teams across multiple sites.

Schedule and manage internal team meetings to address action items and keep projects on schedule.

Manage internal and external suppliers for on‑time completion of actions.

Communicate resource requirements to management to keep projects on schedule.

Define product specifications and project scope to align with market/customer needs.

Ensure financial objectives: review capital requests, product costing, and manage scope creep.

Make decisions to speed process and optimize time‑to‑market, volume, and profitability.

Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles in product development.

Perform capacity planning to meet expected demand.

Provide regular project updates to functional management.

Set up systems for ordering/manufacturing of products.

Manage and reduce risks, develop alternatives using risk‑reduction tools to maintain objectives and schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 4+ years of related experience within the connector industry (preferred).

Ability to read, analyse, and interpret technical product drawings, procedures, and develop reports, business correspondence, and manuals.

Strong presentation skills and ability to respond to questions from various levels of management.

Effective customer communication and expectation management.

Problem‑solving skills in situations with limited standardization.

Knowledge and skills with project management software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Ability to communicate with project teams worldwide.

Demonstrated ability to operate independently and provide status updates to resolve issues.

Root cause analysis experience.
