About This Role IME is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team in Colorado. The role assists the Project Manager in leading project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and project accounting across commercial and industrial electrical projects, while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, scopes, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

Coordinate with the PM to allocate resources, assign tasks, and provide guidance for efficient project execution.

Continuously monitor project risks, resolve issues promptly, and adapt plans to minimize disruptions.

Implement and enforce quality control procedures, ensuring construction meets highest standards.

Conduct regular status meetings and maintain project documentation in coordination with the PM.

Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.

Represent IME’s values and expertise as a brand ambassador within the electrical contracting sector.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong due diligence and risk assessment abilities.

Impeccable integrity and ethics in all interactions.

Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices.

Excellent communication skills for articulating complex information to varied audiences.

Willingness to travel frequently to construction sites.

Demonstrated Accomplishments In The Following Areas

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore, BlueBeam, and Accubid.

Consistently manages projects to completion, on time and within budget.

Strong understanding of large‑scale commercial electrical construction.

Builds relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to stay informed of market trends.

Thorough understanding of safety standards in electrical construction.

Education & Experience

2+ years of industrial and/or commercial electrical project management experience.

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, related field, or equivalent experience (preferred).

Experience in aviation project management (preferred).

Working Conditions Work will primarily be on construction job sites, encountering typical conditions such as extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, trenching, and confined spaces. Multiple site visits per day may be required.

Compensation Range USD $80,750 – $109,250 per year, depending on education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
