About This Role
Intermountain Electric Inc. (IME) is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team in Omaha, NE, extending our presence to a dynamic business hub.

The Project Manager leads the project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, and project accounting on a variety of commercial and industrial electrical projects. Ensuring compliance with quality standards is a top priority.
What You'll Do
Project Planning:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Identify and allocate necessary resources and manage the project team including subcontractors. Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and provide guidance to ensure efficient utilization and adherence to milestones. Continuously monitor risks, resolve issues promptly, and adapt plans to minimize disruptions.
Quality Control:
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to meet the highest standards. Conduct inspections, collaborate with stakeholders, and address concerns. Hold regular status meetings and ensure documentation is complete.
Budget Management:
Manage financials, forecast and control costs, minimize risk, and negotiate contract terms. Monitor resource utilization and quantify impacts of design changes, notifying stakeholders.
Collaborative Leadership:
Build relationships with clients and stakeholders, address concerns, provide exceptional service and ensure client satisfaction. Support the IME culture of safety.
Industry Networking:
Act as a brand ambassador, promote company values, and demonstrate integrity and ethics with stakeholders.
Additional duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong due diligence and risk assessment; impeccable integrity; knowledge of construction materials, systems, market conditions; excellent communication skills; willingness to travel frequently.
Proficient computer skills:
Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, BlueBeam, Accubid.
Proven ability to manage projects consistently, within budget, and on time.
Strong understanding of electrical construction in large-scale commercial environments.
Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to stay informed of market trends.
Thorough understanding of safety standards in electrical construction.
Education & Experience
2-7 years of industrial and/or commercial electrical project management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent combination of skills and training.
What You'll Get Working Conditions:
The majority of the time you will work on construction job sites, encountering typical conditions such as extreme temperatures, noise, dust, debris, welding, trenching, and confined spaces. Multiple visits to various locations may be required.
