Project Manager – Electrical
A leading MEP consultancy is searching for a Project Manager - Electrical to take ownership of major K-12 and electrical projects. This is a high-impact role for someone who can lead design, manage clients, and deliver fully integrated electrical and low-voltage systems from concept to closeout.
Responsibilities
Full-cycle electrical and technology design for K-12 and public facilities, from master planning through construction closeout
Development of drawings, specifications, load calculations, and cost estimates
Integration of electrical, low-voltage, and life-safety systems with architectural and multidisciplinary teams
Design of fire alarm, communications, security, A/V, and access control systems
Site observations, construction administration, and field reporting
Direct coordination with school districts, regulatory agencies, and project partners
Coaching and mentoring junior designers through QA/QC reviews
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
6-12 years of electrical engineering design experience, including 3+ years delivering K-12 school projects
Strong understanding of CEC & Title 24
Proficiency in Revit or AUTOCAD
Experience with LEED or CHPS is a plus
