Overview

At Heart Aerospace we develop the ES-30, a regional hybrid-electric airplane with a capacity of 30 passengers, an electric zero-emission range of 200 km and an extended hybrid range of 400 km. Heart is targeting type certification of the ES-30 by the end of the decade. Your mission As the Commercial Strategy Manager at Heart Aerospace, you will play a central role in shaping how our aircraft reach and serve the market. You’ll lead the development of strategic insights, drive go-to-market planning and manage key external relationships. This role involves clearly articulating Heart\'s value proposition, crafting tailored materials and presentations for different stakeholders, and proactively identifying and developing new commercial opportunities. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our offerings meet the needs of the evolving aviation landscape. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and is excited by the challenges of revolutionizing the aerospace industry. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Market & Commercial Analysis

Lead TAM/SAM/SOM and broader market analysis to shape commercial strategy, delivering actionable recommendations and insights Develop and maintain commercial frameworks to evaluate route fit and airline alignment, including presentations and dynamic performance models Own the evolving commercial business model and revenue assumptions, working closely with Finance to inform forecasts and growth projections Own and articulate TAM/SAM/SOM insights and operating cost calculations to drive actionable insights and presentation materials Go-to-Market & Capture Strategy

Drive capture strategy through pipeline development, competitive positioning, proposal planning, and pitch construction Convert existing LOIs and customer interest into firm orders, building early commercial traction for the ES-30 Lead the development and execution of the ES-30 aircraft pricing strategy, balancing customer adoption, market competitiveness, and long-term revenue unlock and optimization Collaborate with engineering and operations internal teams to translate insights into competitive proposals Provide customer and market driven insights to engineering to inform aircraft design decisions and ensure alignment with customer operational needs Prepare strategic communications materials for airlines, partners, and internal leadership External Engagement & Partnership Development

Manage and deepen relationships with key airline partners and industry stakeholders Manage engagement with Heart’s Industry Advisory Board, leveraging this community to shape the ES-30 design and drive adoption Represent Heart Aerospace at industry conferences, workshops, and executive forums to raise awareness and initiate opportunity flow Run executive briefings with customers, showcasing Heart technology including the X1 prototype to drive interest and alignment Explore and recommend opportunities for new commercial campaigns or strategic collaborations Your place of work will be at our office located in El Segundo, CA. Some domestic travel may be required. Qualifications

You\'ll Bring These Qualifications: 5+ years in strategic, commercial, or business development roles; experience with airlines or aviation customers is a strong asset Demonstrated experience in market analysis, business modelling, or go-to-market strategy Strong communicator who can engage both technical and executive audiences Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment Nice to Have

Experience working directly with C-level stakeholders at airlines, OEMs, or in mobility/clean tech sectors. Prior experience with the U.S. Department of Defense Previous work owning capture strategy, pipeline management, and proposals Proven external stakeholder negotiation and partnership management skills Track record of building commercial traction in an early-stage or transformational industry Education
