Concrete Project Superintendent (High-Rise)

Overview Seeking an experienced Concrete Project Superintendent to lead the structural concrete scope on a downtown Tampa high‑rise project. This role requires hands‑on leadership of cast‑in‑place concrete operations from foundations through vertical structure. The ideal candidate has led multi‑story/high‑rise concrete projects and understands the pace, sequencing, and coordination required for complex urban builds.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all structural concrete operations (foundations, cores, shear walls, columns, slabs).
Oversee daily field operations, crews, formwork systems, rebar placement, pours, and cycle times.
Coordinate concrete sequencing with project management, inspectors, engineers, and other trades.
Enforce safety, quality control, and schedule adherence on a fast‑paced vertical project.
Plan and execute pours, manpower loading, and material logistics in a constrained downtown site.
Maintain accurate daily reports, look‑ahead schedules, and productivity tracking.
Serve as the primary field leader for the concrete scope through structure completion.
Required Experience
Proven high‑rise concrete experience (multi‑story / tower projects required).
Background with structural cast‑in‑place concrete contractors or self‑perform concrete teams.
Experience leading concrete work on urban or tight‑site projects.
Strong knowledge of form systems, rebar, PT decks, and vertical concrete sequencing.
Ability to lead large crews and multiple pours per week.
OSHA knowledge and strong safety leadership.
Preferred Background
Former Lead / Structural / Concrete Superintendent.
Experience with hotel, multifamily, mixed‑use, or luxury high‑rise projects.
Florida high‑rise experience a plus.
