POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Associate will support the organization in ensuring the effective operation and safety of company facilities. This role involves hands‑on tasks, coordination with external vendors, and supporting office operations to ensure a comfortable and efficient working environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide general office support to ensure smooth daily operations, including meeting room setup, waste disposal management, and maintaining overall cleanliness.
Perform daily cleaning of office spaces, public areas, drinking fountains, kitchens, and restrooms.
Conduct light and heavy cleaning tasks such as dusting, furniture polishing, vacuuming, sweeping, floor cleaning/polishing, and emptying trash.
Manage food and beverage operations, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and supporting catering/event setup and service.
Cover front desk reception as needed, greeting and welcoming investors, clients, and visitors in a professional manner.
Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned, demonstrating adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
Respond promptly to facility‑related inquiries and service requests from employees.
Monitor supply levels and notify the supervisor when replenishment is needed.
Adhere to and promote safe work practices in all duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or technical certification in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
1‑3 years of experience in facilities management, hospitality, or a related field.
SKILLS
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on their feet for extended periods of time.
Must be able to demonstrate skills and training for proper cleaning and service practices to ensure a safe office environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor and team interaction.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
LOCATION AND COMPENSATION
This role will be based in our NY office.
This role will be 100% in the office Monday through Friday.
Base compensation is expected to be $65,000 - $75,000 with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation.
Salary may vary based on work experience, market conditions, location, and qualifications/training.
