Work Order Desk Specialist
Location Vermillion, SD
Overview The Work Order Desk is the primary customer contact for Facilities Management. This position will take work requests from the campus community and enter the data into FM's TMA system. Work requests include all fire and life safety, moves, projects, campus events, maintenance items, security requests, key requests, and phone requests.
Responsibilities
Receive and log work requests from the campus community.
Enter data accurately into FM's TMA system.
Handle requests related to fire and life safety, moves, projects, campus events, maintenance, security, key, and phone needs.
Provide timely assistance and maintain excellent customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with TMA systems or ability to learn new software systems.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of facility maintenance practices.
Work Hours & Conditions Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. 100% appointment. 12 month term.
