Sign on Bonus: $1.22/hr
Profit Sharing Eligibility: Begins after completing 1 year of employment (7.5 million in profits paid to pool in 2024)

What we are looking for We’re hiring a Day Shift Logistics Coordinator who will work closely with the KCC leadership team, primarily our Warehouse Manager and Director of Order Fulfillment. You will be responsible for arranging and overseeing all incoming ingredients, packaging, and equipment, as well as overseeing outgoing shipments and customer pickups of finished goods and securing the best freight rates for Kenny’s Candy and Confections.
Essential Duties
Oversee and arrange outgoing shipments and pickups of all finished goods, raw materials, packaging, or point of sale displays.
Oversee and arrange transportation of all raw materials, packaging, machinery, and other items that need to be transported on KCC’s behalf.
Quote freight rates on all incoming and outgoing loads to ensure the best combination of cost, quality, and delivery.
Review carriers, conduct meetings with sales representatives, and research online websites for the best freight rates for LTL and FTL carriers.
Sign off on carrier invoices to ensure accurate charges.
Maintain updated freight spreadsheets for LTL and FTL locations.
Keep warehouse SOPs, processes, and training documented and up to date.
Communicate updates, policies, and procedures, period‑end results, complaints, and carrier information to warehouse personnel and office staff as needed.
File freight claims timely and keep the claim spreadsheet updated.
Prepare period‑end freight estimates for Accounting as required.
Maintain KCC trucks and trailers registration, documentation, and maintenance.
Perform all other duties as required.
Qualifications
Knowledge of warehousing and trafficking.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Self‑motivated and can work independently.
Team‑player who cooperates with others.
Takes initiative, works proactively.
Strong problem‑solving and judgment skills.
Competent computer skills with Microsoft Office.
2‑year Associate degree or 3‑5 years of experience in logistics.
