Responsibilities
Weigh incoming bulk materials (milk, sugar, oil, etc.)
Understand and execute milk, sugar, and oil receiving procedures
Execute mobile or paper manifest
Check trucks’ seals, IDs and compare with manifest to assure accuracy
Open truck top door and visually check for milk color, foreign objects, and excess foam
Perform milk agitation
Collect samples for incoming inspection and laboratory testing
Maintain chart recording system
Perform quality testing (acidity, body fat, pH, antibiotics)
Unload milk into silos once satisfactory results are obtained
Hook up piping and hoses as needed
Perform triration test to review correct milk concentration and composition
Create wash tags with seals and close the truck
Complete daily milk log, DFA, lab, and charm samples forms
Perform cleaning/sanitation (CIP) for raw silos, lines and tankers, ensuring equipment cleanliness following established procedures
Perform cream loadouts
Perform Clean in Place (CILs) in Redzone as assigned
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
Follow safety rules and procedures and ensure safety of others
Adhere to food safety procedures
Follow environmental protocols as applicable
Perform any other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Bilingual preferred
Ability to follow instructions, read and understand equipment manuals and procedures
Ability to work required shifts
Experience with Food Safety Audit expectations and requirements preferred
Dependable, trustworthy, and energetic work ethic
