Every day as a Business Services Specialist, you will play a key role on the business services team, processing over 40 different business/entity type filings maintained by the Office of the Secretary of State. You will analyze and determine status for approval, correction, or rejection of various filings, including complex scenarios that require the ability to research and make decisions. This position requires accuracy and attention to detail as you assist businesses in forming and maintaining their business status in North Dakota. You will directly assist customers with these documents in‑person, or via phone, mail, or email. The position is located in Bismarck, ND.
To thrive in this role, you must be flexible in your daily tasks, be a strong communicator, possess solid decision‑making and organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in your work. Work is expected to be performed with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
To be considered for this role, you must have a High School Diploma/GED and 2 years’ office or customer‑service experience. Knowledge of Microsoft business applications including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word is required.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Three (3) or more years of professional customer‑service or business administration experience.
Experience using Microsoft business applications including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word, or one year applied knowledge and experience with Secretary of State functions or applications.
Salary
– $3,740 to $4,987 per month ($44,880 to $59,844 per year).
