$91,870.00/yr - $156,715.00/yr This position is open exclusively to current Department of War (DoW) federal employees. This includes current Active‑Duty personnel across the services but does NOT include current National Guard or Reservists unless AGR or Dual‑Status Federal Technicians. NCC Combatant Command C2 Division – Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska with the position based at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO NCL Sustainment Division – Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO NCS Strategic Communications Division – Hanscom Air Force Base, Hanscom, MA NCN Nuclear Communications Networks Division – Hanscom Air Force Base, Hanscom, MA

Typical 2026 salary range of $91,870 – $156,715 (salary varies by location). Duties

The primary purpose is to serve as a Logistics Management Specialist within the AF NC3 Integration Directorate, building, executing, and managing product support strategies. Interface with stakeholders from Combatant Commands, Major Commands, Depots, Program Offices across the AFNWC, AFSC, OEMs, and others to ensure successful product support. Lead acquisition and sustainment logistics support to multi‑functional teams, performing independently and leading teams under tight deadlines. Plan, manage, and coordinate the cradle‑to‑grave life‑cycle cost, schedule, performance, and logistics support for assigned systems or subsystems, integrating supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into program activities. Direct and determine support requirements; set milestones, monitor execution, and adjust as necessary. Develop product‑support plans and milestones, ensuring economical means of support throughout the weapon system life cycle. Serve as the logistics technical advisor on contracts and develop logistics evaluation criteria to measure contractor progress. Non‑supervisory position. Skills and Qualifications

Strong background in weapon system acquisition and sustainment logistics with knowledge of the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements. Ability to understand complex technical concepts of communications systems across the Air Force. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage professional relationships with multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of applicable principles, policies, laws, and programs; analysis and judgement skills. Strong logistics‑management experience in DoD acquisition programs preferred. NC3 domain experience and technical management/IPT leadership experience desired. Must be a U.S. citizen and Top‑Secret (TS) eligible. Must possess or obtain a Foundational certification in Life Cycle Logistics within the required timeframe (APDP). Subject to pre‑employment drug testing and random drug testing. May require travel on military or commercial aircraft. May need to file an annual Office of Government Ethics Form 450. Application Instructions
