Responsibilities
Provide operational supervision to achieve high levels of service, product quality, and other criteria in accordance with polies, goals and objectives.
Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate performance of assigned personnel.
Ensure routine and special orders are filled and delivered within contract metrics, while coordinating special product needs with other departments.
Manage workflow in production areas, delegate tasks, develop staff schedules, and lead shift huddles to maintain standardized processes.
Handle escalated customer complaints, support complaint investigations, and engage stakeholders for resolution.
Monitor storage requirements, perform quality control on equipment and procedures, and oversee equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements Knowledge / Education
Associate's degree or equivalent in experience and education required.
Working knowledge of inventory management principles preferred.
Licenses / Certifications
Valid in‑state driver's license required.
Experience
Two years related experience required.
One‑year supervisory experience required.
Skills / Abilities
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal ability in order to deal effectively with company employees and hospital staff.
Detail oriented to ensure accuracy on paperwork and ensuring all required processes are followed.
Positive team‑oriented attitudeli>
Computer skills required; prior experience with product management software preferred.
Basic supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate staff.
Able to maintain donor, patient and employee confidentiality.
Must be able to work on‑call, various shifts including evenings and weekends, and overtime.
Able to meet all physical requirements with or without accommodation.
Must possess a good driving record.
Travel within the blood center service area required.
