ChargeAfter is pioneering the embedded lending network for point-of-sale consumer financing for merchants and financial institutions. Powered by a network of lenders and a data-driven matching engine, ChargeAfter streamlines the distribution of credit into a single, secure, and reliable embedded lending platform. Merchants can rapidly implement ChargeAfter’s omni-channel platform online, in-store, and at every point of sale—enabling them to provide personalized financing choices to their customers.

We are building the next unicorn in the fintech space and looking for a talented, execution-oriented Program Manager to help us scale with impact.

Responsibilities

Act as the Primary Partner Interface – Serve as the day-to-day lead and primary point of contact (POC) for external partners, including merchants, financial institutions, and payment providers. Build high-trust relationships and ensure clear, proactive communication throughout the integration journey.

Lead Cross-Company Program Delivery – Own the full lifecycle of onboarding programs, ensuring delivery is timely, aligned to client requirements, and executed with precision. Actively engage external stakeholders to align on project scope, implementation timelines, and measurable outcomes.

Represent ChargeAfter with Executive Presence – Interface with partner-side senior stakeholders, including C-level leaders, to present timelines, articulate progress, resolve risks, and negotiate delivery trade-offs. Translate technical delivery needs into clear business language that aligns with partner objectives.

Drive Client Accountability – Establish and manage clear partner expectations, defining joint ownership of responsibilities across testing, certification, legal/compliance reviews, and go-live readiness. Follow up on action items and hold partners accountable for their milestones.

Collaborate Across Partner Ecosystems – Support ChargeAfter’s integrations with third-party platforms such as shopping carts, marketplaces, payment gateways, and lending partners. Navigate complex partner ecosystems and coordinate across multiple external teams to deliver unified solutions.

Guide Stakeholder Decision-Making – Act as the go-to resource for external stakeholders and represent program status, blockers, and strategic risks. Escalate thoughtfully, provide well-informed tradeoffs, and communicate with clarity and transparency.

Orchestrate Internal-External Alignment – Coordinate with product, engineering, compliance, and customer success to ensure all internal teams are aligned with external stakeholder needs. Facilitate seamless handoffs and ensure client satisfaction at every milestone.

Execute with Discipline and Detail – Maintain rigor around documentation, scope, project plans, and risk logs. Deliver with a customer-first mindset, ensuring every decision supports both technical feasibility and long-term client value.

Enable Cross-Functional Team Readiness – Ensure that product, engineering, operations, and customer success teams are fully briefed and equipped to support partner integrations. Drive pre-launch readiness internally with detailed implementation plans and clear responsibilities.

Drive Internal Visibility and Reporting – Maintain dashboards, project trackers, and executive summaries to keep leadership informed of key milestones, risks, and delivery confidence. Ensure internal accountability and clarity across all functions.

Requirements

5+ years experience in program management, technical project management, or professional services delivery in SaaS or fintech environments.

Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional programs involving both technical and business stakeholders.

Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.

Strong client-facing communication skills, including presenting to C-level executives, and enterprise relationships.

Proficiency in modern project/program management tools (ClickUp, Azure, etc.).

Experience with fintech platforms, payment infrastructure, or lending technologies.

Preferred:

Familiarity with global payment flows and partner integrations is a strong plus.

Prior exposure to cloud platforms (GCP), APIs, and tools like Azure DevOps or MongoDB preferred.

Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma).

NYC Posting In accordance with New York City Local Law 32, the expected salary for this role is between $90,000–$160,000. This role may be eligible for bonuses and/or stock options. Final compensation will depend on skills, experience, and organizational need.
