The
Operations Support Specialist

Clayton
ensures effective and consistent pipeline management of construction projects and maintains schedules for 1-2 smaller to medium-sized Hubs. The role supports project timelines for transportation and installation and serves as reliable point of contact for Hub Managers and Retail location scheduling needs, contributing to HouseSmart's operational efficiency. Schedule Management & Coordination
Review, manage, and communicate pipelines for efficient scheduling and execution of construction projects for 1-2 HouseSmart Hub locations. Intake work scopes from Retail Home Center locations with sufficient detail to plan and schedule work. Coordinate, change, adjust, and communicate schedules to meet project needs, proactively resolving scheduling issues. Partner as a strategic liaison between HouseSmart and Retail locations, ensuring a timely communication stream for production operations. Assist production leadership in creating schedules that maximize efficiency, productivity, profitability, customer and team member experience. Partner with production leadership to consistently complete invoicing accurately and on time. Serve as primary contact for scheduling inquiries and adjustments, communicating frequently between Hub and Retail locations. Collaborate with Hub and Retail managers to align schedules with business needs and resource availability. Operational Support
Collaborate effectively and consistently with HouseSmart and Retail location leadership, ensuring accurate and timely information is shared. Build strong relationships and execute processes with Home Centers and Project Management functions. Partner with Zone, Regional, and Home Office functions as required. Provide reports on scheduling metrics such as utilization, coverage, and compliance. Support operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for process improvement. Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or Logistics preferred, or equivalent mix of education and experience. Years of Related Experience:
Modular home construction knowledge or experience is a plus. Ability to effectively work in fast‑paced operations with changing dynamics and variables. Ability to build and manage relationships with business and end customers. Ability to learn and utilize a variety of software programs used in general business activities. Ability to collaborate and work well with others. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated strict attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and problem‑solving ability. Motivated self‑starter with a desire to learn. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Reliable with strong attendance and work ethic. Ability to pass criminal background check and post‑offer drug screen. Ability and willingness to travel when necessary (≤10% of total job function). Work Environment & Travel
