What to Expect
Tesla is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to work on one of the most progressive vehicle distribution models in the world. Candidates for this job have a strong eye for detail, can provide quick and strategic solutions, ability to execute large scale plans, adapt to sudden changes, manage difficult and complex challenges, and work collaboratively with excellent oral and written communication skills. To be a successful candidate for this role you should be a self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and engaging cross-functionally within Tesla and across the extended supply chain.
What You'll Do
Establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with internal and external stakeholders on rail yard operations
Work closely with corresponding Tesla Logistics Analyst- ensuring open communications, and a complete understanding of all internal processes and procedures
Act as a liaison with local Tesla Delivery and Service teams by performing frequent local service center visits and proactively communicating concerns through internal systems
Collaborate with local Tesla Service Center teams to identify and mitigate local logistics concerns
Perform frequent yard inventory audits
Report any discrepancies and help to improve processes and increase productivity
Resolve inbound concerns from field teams ensuring high quality service to internal stakeholders
What You'll Bring
2 - 5 years in Supply Chain and Yard Management experience and evidence of exceptional ability
Ability to work extended hours and weekends contingent on business needs
Ability to travel to various Tesla locations as needed, up to 20% of the time
Access to reliable transportation to navigate between different Tesla sites
Proficient computer skills, especially in Excel and other database systems
Ability to sit and/or walk 8-10 hours per day
Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
