Operations Manager – Service/Repair
Location: Jacksonville, FL.

Responsibilities
Supervise superintendents and employees, providing direction, training, and communication of company policies, procedures, and objectives, including hiring and performance management.
Administer the company safety program and conduct weekly safety audits.
Visit job sites and perform quality audits, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and cost-effective; spend approximately four hours a day in the field with technicians and customers.
Use accounting reports and Map Point to review route management and callbacks, making changes to improve profitability.
Provide technical input to sales staff on the scope of work and materials needed to bid repair work, including labor and material cost calculations.
Monitor the "Three Callbacks in 30 Days" program, keeping cancellations under 3%.
Collaborate with the Branch Manager and service/repair Sales Managers to address customer needs, communicating daily with customers that have down cars.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all federal, state, and local elevator industry code requirements.
Stay familiar with company products through training classes and updates, working with regional field trainers.
Administer the parts program for contract service and repair to meet budget expectations and customer satisfaction.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in elevator industry management; or two years managing at branch departmental level.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicles Report.
Thorough knowledge of elevator industry and general management methods.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage both abstract and concrete variables.
