Manages the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.

Company Description Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina, is a 355-bed acute care hospital, an 81-bed Behavioral Health facility, and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers.
Essential Functions
Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives that directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems, equipment, and supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Ensures the department stays focused on its important role in the continuum of care.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in related field required
