Role Summary The two-year Graduate Program provides recent graduates with hands-on experience across a wide range of front, middle, and back-office functions, contributing to projects that support operations, financial activities, client engagement, and regulatory responsibilities. Depending on placement, participants may assist with audits, reporting, compliance, financial transactions, client onboarding, technology, risk management, trade execution, prime brokerage, and client services. In addition to practical experience, the program emphasizes professional development, offering exposure to industry practices, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration alongside experienced professionals.

The Operations Department is first and foremost a control function. As such, the Fixed Income team is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of fixed income transactions while maintaining strong controls and continuously evaluating processes for improvement. The team works on daily trade lifecycle activities, such as trade capture, settlement, and reconciliation, as well as building frameworks to support new products, regulatory requirements, and efficiency initiatives.
Purpose of Role The Operations – Fixed Income Analyst plays a key role in supporting post-trade functions that ensure accurate and timely processing of fixed income transactions, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation. This role is responsible for maintaining strong operational controls, resolving trade breaks, managing collateral and margin requirements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The analyst works closely with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Compliance, IT, and Operations teams to support business-as-usual activities and implement process improvements.
In today’s fast-paced and highly regulated fixed income markets, efficient and precise operations are essential to minimizing risk and maintaining client trust. By delivering reliable transaction processing, supporting new product initiatives, and adhering to global regulatory requirements, the Operations – Fixed Income Analyst acts as a critical partner to the front office. This role enables smooth execution, reinforces the company’s commitment to integrity, compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Substantiate and reconcile relevant balance sheet accounts, ensuring Group revenue and associated costs are accurately reflected.
Manage trade lifecycle for fixed income products, including trade capture, confirmation, and settlement across internal systems and external counterparties.
Perform daily reconciliations of positions, cash, and collateral between internal records, custodians, and clearinghouses; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Monitor and mitigate operational risk by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls for fixed income transactions.
Coordinate with front office, middle office, and external stakeholders to resolve trade breaks, settlement issues, and ensure timely delivery of securities and funds.
Prepare and submit regulatory reports (e.g., TRACE, MiFID II) and maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and collaborating with technology teams to enhance automation and workflow.
Stay informed on financial standards and industry best practices.
Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges and regulatory bodies.
Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field required.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT.
