Our Enterprise Performance organization seeks a level 4 Program Planner to join our mission supporting New Business working proposals and various strategic initiatives within in our Commercial Civil Space line of business.

In this role you will:

Partner with Program, Capture & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions

Develop compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy

Provide time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develop recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts

Ensure all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused

Prepare/coordinate the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response

Interface with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator

Ensure vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts

Devise modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments

Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance

Our level 4 employees typically have 5+ years of directly job relevant work experience.

Basic Qualifications

5-8 years of previous planning/scheduling experience

Experience with Microsoft Project, Open Plan, One Pager Pro, and Excel

Experience with Proposal Planning

Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts (such as critical path analysis, cost/schedule integration, performance metrics, program start-up activities)

Prior team lead or leadership experience

Desired Skills

Bachelors degree preferred

8+ years of previous planning/scheduling experience

Understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of a spacecraft/satellite program

Understanding of the Program Performance Management Process

Demonstrated competency in integrating cost/schedule

Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team

Strong sense of follow-up and closure with attention to detail

Self-starter able to operate with minimal guidance

Desire and willingness to support dynamic proposal activities

Strong influencing and relationship management skills

Excellent problem solving skills to identify and resolve challenges arising in dynamic situations

Makes sound decisions quickly and efficiently, even with limited information or under time constraints

Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines

Thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates a willingness to adjust to changing priorities

Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $95,000 - $167,440. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
