ROLE The Buyer is responsible for the development, sourcing, procurement, and maintenance of merchandise and corporate fulfillment products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Procures classifications of merchandise, corporate fulfillment and custom products by working with internal teams to develop and source products
Has experience in vertical buying and procurement
Negotiates with vendors regarding cost of goods sold, terms, freight, and other conditions
Manages stock and inventory levels by reordering, maintaining, or discontinuing products and communicating that information to stakeholders
Manages the Program Coordinator and assigns daily tasks and yearly goals
Travel to events as needed
Other duties may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent
3+ years of buying experience; retail buying preferred
Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and adapt to changing situations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail
Strong negotiating skills and understanding of margin management
COMPENSATION Competitive salary commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan.
