Warehouse Assembly Distribution Specialist - 1st Shift
Warehouse Assembly Distribution Specialist - 1st Shift role at Hampel Corp.
Picking finished goods and Assemble components to fulfil orders, meeting customer quality expectations and promise ship dates. Keeping the WAD area and Warehouse clean and organize. Put finished goods and received materials up on racks.
Requirements
Read and understand shop orders (including visual work instructions), interpret and use the instructions they provide.
Safe use of hand tools (tools should include: routers, drills, cutting tools, and finishing tools).
Safe operation of bandsaws for pre-trimming or cutting up scrap.
Use and understand basic measuring tools including tape measures, scales (rulers), and heat guns.
Keep accurate records and entries in the data collection system, QC reports and Day by the Hour reports.
Ability to use the bar code system to preform transactions related to pulling orders, inventory for assembly, shipping, and finished goods.
Pull / returns finished goods to warehouse and pull/stage shipping loads accurately and safely using a forklift.
Assembles unit and parts orders efficiently (meets standard), accurately, and delivers to shipping to ensure timely delivery to customer.
Regularly communicates with shipping regarding outgoing / pending shipping orders.
Assists in the loading of trucks as needed.
Accurately packs all service products for shipping. (UPS, Speedy, LTL).
Helps in other production areas as needed, able to load and unload thermoformers and CNC’s
Safely operates forklift and maintains certification.
Accurately issue and return materials/finished goods to inventory system using the bar code scanning system.
Participate and promote 5S procedures and practices.
Load drying ovens as needed.
Complete Daily Scan Gun audits as needed.
Return hardware from hardware drop zone as assigned per team lead.
