Job Description Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Food & Beverage Outlets Manager for the new Barton Creek Resort & Spa. The role involves ensuring proper training and supervision of all personnel, delivering prompt, courteous service in compliance with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies, and managing Nopales Restaurant, Pool (Seasonal), Room Service, and other retail or F&B outlets as needed.

Responsibilities

Consistently ensure maximum guest satisfaction while dining in the restaurant.

Conduct pre‑meal meetings with service staff daily.

Supervise the floor during operation.

Ensure service personnel follow service protocol.

Monitor timing of the guest experience.

Handle all complaints to guests’ satisfaction.

Maintain a consistently smooth‑running operation.

Create the front‑of‑house staff weekly schedule.

Ensure kitchen, stewarding, and cashier staff are on duty as scheduled.

Ensure side‑stations are fully stocked with equipment.

Complete all side‑work and have it checked out by the manager.

Ensure beverage machines function properly.

Rotate seating stations as needed.

Assist in seating or service of guests as necessary.

Coordinate all functions in the dining room during service.

Monitor productivity of service staff.

Critique the quality and consistency of the food product.

Ensure special boards and descriptions are posted accurately.

Continuously check food quality and presentation from the kitchen.

Maintain food displays during service.

Monitor guest satisfaction and comments regarding food and service.

Familiarize with clients for recognition of repeat guests.

Review reservations daily and cross‑check with the VIP list.

Handle all special attention details properly.

Maintain physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurants.

Ensure staff uniforms and appearances meet specifications.

Inspect tabletops, side‑stations, and tray stands during service.

Have all menus inspected daily by the hostess.

Ensure all equipment is in good condition and clean.

Keep work areas neat, orderly, and clean.

Adjust lights and music for each meal period appropriately.

Contribute to profitability through cost‑control effectiveness.

Perform positive up‑selling techniques with service staff.

Expedite table turnover and resetting; implement sales promotions and merchandising programs.

Know all beverage‑related procedures and assist the cashier when needed.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Know emergency procedures (including CPR) and work to prevent accidents.

Enforce policies related to liquor liability laws.

Perform any other duties assigned or required by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in a Food & Beverage operations leadership role required.

Previous Restaurant Manager or Assistant General Manager experience preferred.

Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Understanding of financial statements and labor productivity.

Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Must stand and walk for an extended period or the entire shift.

Must move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.

Working Environment

Interior of restaurant kitchen and designated bar area, with occasional travel around resort property.

Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.

Exposure to food items and beverages.

Tools & Equipment

MICROS computer and card system, telephone, wine key.
