The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced

Project Manager

to join our growing East Coast team. StructureCraft is based in Abbotsford, BC, Canada, but this role will be a remote opportunity to lead timber construction projects across the East Coast, USA. This position will interface directly with our clients and work closely with all departments to deliver high‑quality wood structures safely, on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and lead the delivery of timber construction projects from award to completion.

Achieve safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives.

Define tasks and required resources.

Prepare and manage project budget, schedule of values, progress billing and change orders.

Create schedules and coordinate company resources to meet project deliverables.

Understand project scope and contract terms to ensure full compliance.

Prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, prepare POs and subcontracts, set and track delivery milestones.

Track and report on project deliverables.

Lead quality assurance.

Provide onsite construction support.

Present management reports on progress as well as problems and solutions.

Manage project changes and delays to ensure the company is fairly compensated.

Accurately estimate changes within contract requirements.

Evaluate and assess results of the project.

Manage Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager and delegate responsibilities when applicable.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong organisational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.

Excellent resource, planning, and time‑management skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Strong skills in Word, Excel, Procore and MS Project (or similar scheduling software).

Minimum of 3 years of construction‑related project management experience (required).

Good command of the English language.

Preferred Candidate Will Have

Bachelor’s degree in building science, construction management or engineering (structural/civil focus preferred).

PMP designation or be in process of obtaining one (optional).

Experience managing construction projects with values in excess of $5 M.

Travel Some selective travel will be required for this position, focused on the East Coast.
