Yes – see driving policy below The Stepping Stones, Housing Supervisor oversees services and operations of the emergency shelter program located at the PodShare site. Key responsibilities include supervising direct‑service workers and case managers, ensuring health and safety of residents, coordinating with security, managing outreach, liaison with partner organizations, and maintaining program performance measures. What You’ll Do

Provide supportive supervision to a team of direct‑service workers in emergency housing. Review documentation, case‑management notes and service plans. Conduct regular case consultations to ensure youth safety and progress toward housing goals. Log onsite activities, complete incident reports and track nightly bed checks. Conduct outreach and triage for referrals; support case managers with moves‑in and exits. Provide administrative oversight and coordination of services to meet program metrics. Assess and resolve programmatic and site needs, including maintenance and contract liaison with PodShare staff. Offer mediation, non‑violent crisis intervention and support the discharge process. Communicate all relevant incident and program information to the Program Director and leadership. Provide training, coaching, professional development and staff evaluation. Serve as hiring manager for emergency housing staff, conduct interviews and onboarding. Manage on‑site and off‑site partnerships with external agencies. Ensure safety systems function and preparedness protocols are followed. Represent the program to local agencies, coalitions and community stakeholders. Collect data, prepare monthly reports and perform other program administration duties. Enforce policies and procedures consistently. Co‑facilitate staff, member and community meetings and trainings as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission of SPY. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field preferred. Related work or lived experience will be strongly considered in place of or in addition to a degree. 2–3 years of direct services experience with high‑risk transitional‑age youth. 2–3 years of case‑management experience with high‑risk transitional‑age youth. 1–2 years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of child and adolescent social, emotional, and cognitive development and trauma‑informed care. Ability to work within legal and ethical guidelines. Schedule flexibility based on program needs. Commitment to SPY’s mission, vision, values and culture. Self‑starter who develops innovative solutions. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Valid California driver’s license, auto insurance and ability to transport youth. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive. Cultural humility. Work Environment And Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; occasional light physical effort including lifting up to 15–20 pounds. Work may also involve outdoor settings and changing environmental conditions. Special Conditions

Mandated Reporting Requirements:

This position is a mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and must comply with the relevant reporting requirements. COVID‑19 Vaccination Requirements:

Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination (or booster) is required for all workers. Unvaccinated workers must weekly test per program policy. Driver Position:
