We are a Minnesota based family‑owned business and a family of companies with our main location in Blaine MN is looking to fill a 1st shift Service Advisor position for our Trailer Shop. This position handles the day‑to‑day supervision of shift operations and technicians. We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, detail oriented, willing to jump in and help out where needed, strong computer skills, and has a great work ethic. SHIFT 1st Shift, Monday- Friday, 7am- 5pm

WAGE $25- $38/hr (varies based on skillset and experience)
Job Duties
Provide leadership and direction to the technicians
Evaluate technician’s skillset and provide training as needed.
Assist technicians in locating parts / job related issues
Schedule shift work
Call in customer repairs and approvals / unit updates
Organize shift with parts to pick up and vehicles for repair
Create, estimate (if needed) and invoice repair orders in a timely manner
Related activities that promote the goals of the Organization.
Requirements We'd love to have you as part of our team. The ideal candidate would have the following skills:
Repair and shop operation knowledge with a strong technical aptitude
Strong communication skills – both verbally and written
Ability to train technicians at varying levels of experience, skillset and learning styles
Able to receive feedback on operations from peers, subordinates and manager and respond in a productive and constructive manner with a focus on solutions
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong computer skills – knowledge of Karmak, a plus
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask

We have a brand‑new state of the art facility in Inver Grove Heights, MN. We specialize in the repair of medium and heavy duty (class 4-8) trucks, school buses, commercial buses and RVs. We utilize the best computers and software to aid in the diagnostic and servicing of the equipment. North American Trailer is affiliated with Blaine Brothers, Inc.
