Job Title:
Product Design Lead
Job Overview We are looking for a Product Design Lead to own the end to end product experience across both an admin platform and a learner experience. You will work closely with product and engineering leadership to design clear workflows, conduct UX research, and ensure every feature launch meets a high bar for usability and quality.
This role is a fit for a senior designer with deep SaaS experience, strong product sense, and a habit of using data and customer feedback to ship work that moves key metrics.
Responsibilities
Lead UX design from concept through launch, including research, wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity designs
Run user interviews, usability tests, and UAT to find friction points and validate new experiences
Create intuitive user flows and workflows that improve engagement and self service for both admins and learners
Use product analytics and customer feedback to prioritize work and drive ongoing improvement
Build and maintain a modern design system in Figma in partnership with engineering
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align design decisions with business goals
Prepare clear specs, support implementation with the engineering team, and review work before release
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in UX, UI, or Product Design, ideally within high growth SaaS environments
Proven track record leading product design for platforms with meaningful scale (7–8 figures ARR or similar)
Strong proficiency in Figma and experience working with design systems
Experience designing AI powered products or interfaces that use machine learning, automation, or personalization
Comfortable working with product analytics and qualitative feedback to guide decisions
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross functional, founder led teams
Data informed mindset with strong product intuition and a focus on simple, clear user experiences
Ideal Profile
Has owned end to end product experience for SaaS products with both admin and end user flows, and can show impact on metrics such as usability, NPS, or self serve rates
Comfortable designing AI and data driven experiences, including automation, assistants, or retrieval style flows
Builds and maintains design systems in Figma, ships quickly with engineers, and raises quality through clear specs and reviews
Thrives in fast moving startup settings, can interview customers, run discovery, and make trade offs that balance user needs with business goals
Experience at a venture backed startup or top tier accelerator company is a plus
