Overview Air Liquide Electronics provides ultra‑pure carrier gases, specialty gases and advanced precursor molecules for semiconductor manufacturing. On‑site, manufacturers rely on our expertise to manage gases and chemicals, continuously improving production processes.
Role
Total Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) Operations delivers safe, reliable, and cost‑effective gas and chemical management for semiconductor customers. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting gas/chemical delivery equipment around the clock.
Responsibilities
Perform intermediate gas/chemical troubleshooting and repair of delivery equipment.
Conduct daily rounds: record readings, complete safety inspections, monitor online gas and chemical systems, verify toxic gas monitoring operations, and manage chemical tote/drum & gas cylinder change‑outs.
Determine corrective actions for abnormal parameters and ensure completion.
Understand and apply correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on site.
Perform bulk gas and chemical trailer transfers.
Initiate and maintain proper reporting procedures (e.g., Quality Incident Reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory & material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyzer calibration).
Assist in resolving gas/chemical‑related manufacturing problems.
Serve as Emergency Response Team member/leader.
Commission and start‑up specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment.
Complete local OJT and qualification requirements for TGCM Tech 7.
Issue Hazardous Work Permits as required.
Act as primary customer shift interface.
Restart all high‑purity gas and/or chemical delivery equipment after outages.
Participate in safety, training, operations, and preventive maintenance programs.
Support training of TGCM contractors and TGCM Tech 5 & 6 employees.
Develop and maintain site‑specific work instructions.
Comply with HS&E standards: PPE, forklift operations, Lock Out/Tag Out, confined space entry, etc.
Perform minor analytical and sampling procedures as needed.
Ensure safety of all personnel and the general public around facilities.
Hourly Rate $24.00 per hour (Texas)

Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
4+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Evidence of teamwork in a successful environment.
Knowledge of proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy (product acceptance, tank fill, inventory, monitoring, safety parameters).
Ability to coordinate and supervise a group of technicians on a project.
Electro‑mechanical aptitude.
Aptitude for controlling emergency situations and coordinating problem‑solving actions.
Strong adherence to safety rules.
Demonstrated ability to train junior technicians.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours per day.
Ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55‑gallon drums, up to 500 lbs).
Constant bending during shift tasks (validating information, checking systems).
Ability to wear a respirator as required PPE.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in semiconductor, chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating, nuclear industry, or equivalent.
