How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Total Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) Operations group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on-site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials. This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.

TGCM Maintenance Technician needs to safely maintain and operate liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform intermediate gas/chemical troubleshooting and repair of delivery equipment

Perform daily rounds including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online gas and chemical systems, verifying toxic gas monitoring operations, and completing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs. Verify that daily rounds are recorded.

Determine corrective action to be taken in the event of abnormal parameters and ensure that corrective action is completed.

Monitor and understand correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on site

Perform bulk gas and chemical trailer transfers

Provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including, but not limited to: Quality Incident Reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory and material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyzer calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, and personnel requirements

Assist in the identification and resolution of gas/chemical-related manufacturing problems.

Act as Emergency Response Team member/leader

Commission and start up specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment

Satisfactorily completed TGCM Tech 7 local OJT and qualification requirements

Issue Hazardous Work Permits

Act as primary customer shift interface

Restart all high purity gas and/or chemical delivery equipment

Participate in customer and Air Liquide programs including, but not limited to: Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive Maintenance

Support training of TGCM contractors and TGCM Tech 5 & 6 employees

Develop and maintain applicable site-specific work instructions

Comply with all applicable HS&E Standards including, but not limited to: PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, Confined Space Entry, etc.

Complete assigned tasks per existing procedures

Perform minor analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures

Accountable for the safety of all persons, and general public surrounding facilities

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent or 5+ years of experience

4+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong communication skills

Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment

Knowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements.

Demonstrate ability to coordinate and supervise a group of technicians on a project

Electro‑mechanical aptitude

Display aptitude for controlling an emergency situation and coordinating problem‑solving actions

Able to understand and abide by stringent safety rules

Demonstrate ability to train junior technicians

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 40 lbs

Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours per day

Ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs)

Job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks (validating information, checking systems, etc.)

Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry.
