6 Month Contract to Hire.

Hybrid: Primarily remote. Onsite a few times to get lay of the land and then about every quarter as needed from there.

Candidate needs to be local/ish to NJ (NJ, NY, PA). Commutable.

Interviews will be after the holidays.

Start Date: Mid-Late January.

No 3rd Party/C2C/Sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities Service Intake & Dispatch Coordination

Operate as the single access point for Clinical Engineering service intake, ensuring accurate triage, routing, tracking, and follow-through of service requests.

Coordinate service dispatch logistics and real‑time status tracking, supporting required coverage models (including 24x365 dispatch/coverage, where applicable).

Ensure service workflows are executed consistently across internal teams and external vendors.

ServiceNow & Enterprise Tool Utilization

Leverage ServiceNow to manage work orders, incidents, service requests, SLAs, and escalations.

Support configuration, standardization, and adoption of ServiceNow workflows in environments with limited or emerging process maturity.

Partner with IT, Clinical Engineering, and vendors to improve tool utilization, data quality, and operational visibility.

Operational Reporting & Analytics Maintain a Regular Reporting Cadence, Including

Service volume and demand trends

Response and resolution times

Open work order aging

Preventive maintenance (PM) completion rates

Equipment downtime trends

Parts delays and vendor performance

Escalations and exception management

Deliver ad hoc and rapid‑turn reporting to support BioMed and operational leadership decision‑making

Inventory & Asset Integrity

Support equipment inventory integrity by coordinating asset additions, deletions, reconciliations, and documentation standards.

Assist with physical inventory validation activities as needed, ensuring alignment between systems of record and field reality.

Partner with Clinical Engineering and vendors to address discrepancies and improve asset lifecycle controls.

Compliance, Documentation & Audit Readiness

Coordinate documentation hygiene, ensuring service records, test documentation, PM records, and supporting artifacts are complete, retrievable, and audit‑ready.

Support recall and alert workflows, including equipment recall notifications, tracking, and documentation readiness for regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., The Joint Commission).

Vendor Operations & Program Governance Support Vendor Operational Readiness Activities, Including

Vendor transitions and onboarding

Site access planning

Stakeholder coordination and scheduling

Implementation task tracking and issue follow‑up

Serve as an operational liaison between Clinical Engineering leadership, vendors, IT, and clinical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field preferred).

5+ years of experience in Clinical Engineering operations, healthcare technology management, biomedical services, or a closely related operational role.

Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow (or similar enterprise service management platforms) in a production environment.

Demonstrated experience working with major Clinical Engineering / OEM vendors such as GE, Stryker, Philips, Siemens, Canon, or equivalent.

Proven ability to operate effectively in immature or evolving environments, helping define, implement, and stabilize processes and tools.

Strong understanding of equipment service workflows, dispatch models, PM programs, and asset lifecycle management.

Experience supporting regulatory compliance, audits, and documentation standards in a healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting large, multi‑site health systems or integrated delivery networks (IDNs).

Familiarity with diagnostic imaging service operations.

Experience supporting 24x365 operational coverage models.

Exposure to Epic‑integrated environments or clinical system integrations (preferred, not required).
