Role Overview: Mitsubishi Power is hiring a Quality Inspector (Off Shift) in the Orlando Service Center. The Quality Inspector will set up and operate various types of computerized and state‑of‑the‑art nondestructive test equipment, determining the most effective inspection methods for each specific application.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrates our core competencies: action oriented, change champion, customer‑focused, developing self & others, and ownership

Read, interpret and perform all operations as necessary per drawings and/or work instructions

General knowledge of all other shop processes

Multi‑task in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision

Perform TPMs on equipment

Perform visual and dimensional inspection techniques

Operate CMM using established programs

Perform moment‑weigh inspections and tap testing operation

Verify specified dimensions of parts or material

Test product for structural defects such as leaks or internal cracks

Perform air‑flow testing

Requirements

Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Communication Skills: Able to read and understand basic instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively communicate in one‑on‑one and small group settings.

Math Skills: Proficient in basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Problem‑Solving: Capable of applying common sense to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and resolve routine problems involving multiple variables.

Computer Proficiency: Basic skills in using personal computers and common software applications such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
