Role: SAP Business Data Cloud Architect
Location: St.Louis, Mo (Onsite)
Type: Contract
We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Data Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale data architectures on SAP’s Business Data Cloud. The role focuses on enabling analytics, reporting, and data integration across SAP and non-SAP systems while ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect data solutions using SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud
Integrate data from SAP (S/4HANA, ECC, BW) and non-SAP sources
Define data models, semantic layers, and data governance standards
Ensure data security, quality, performance, and compliance
Collaborate with business, analytics, and IT teams to translate requirements into data solutions
Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years in SAP data & analytics architecture
Strong experience with SAP Business Data Cloud / SAP Datasphere / SAP BW / HANA
Expertise in data modeling, ETL, and cloud data integration
Knowledge of SAP security, roles, and data governance
Strong stakeholder communication skills
Nice to Have:
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Experience with hyperscalers (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Exposure to real-time and streaming data architectures
