Schedule / Shift 2nd shift, Monday - Friday
Salary Starting at $65,000 annual
Job Purpose Report to the Warehouse Manager. Supervise 2nd‑shift warehouse operations, communicate shift transitions, manage staff performance, and oversee computer entry and paperwork flow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assign work assignments for all 2nd‑shift warehouse staff, ensuring customer specifications and delivery schedules are met.
Oversee loading of inbound/outbound freight per customer specifications.
Supervise local, regional, and OTR drivers; communicate updates and workflow changes.
Review deliveries for poor packing and material conditions; alert Customer Service Representative, Warehouse Manager, and COO as needed.
Oversee and assign shipment paperwork processing, including BOL scanning.
Ensure all shipments are recorded and verified for accuracy against paperwork.
Monitor quality and accuracy of shipments per customer specifications.
Ensure staff meets customer requirements and staff receives training on any changes.
Keep Tee Card board and TMW system updated.
Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries, implementing required actions.
Send transition emails before shift end to ensure smooth workflow and issue reporting.
Ensure safety, training, and development of employees, drivers, and contractors per OSHA and RJW policies.
Oversee completion of all required computer data entry, checking for accuracy.
Approve all shift timesheets for payroll, including temp hours and overtime monitoring.
Conduct daily building checks; notify Warehouse Director of equipment or building issues.
Ensure adherence to all AIB processes, procedures, and guidelines.
Complete safety and equipment checklists; issue corrective actions or work orders as needed.
Handle accident reporting, care for injured employees, and notify HR and management of emergency actions.
Perform assigned tasks or other duties from Warehouse Manager or COO.
Additional Responsibilities

Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience.
Dispatch experience.
Dock supervision experience.
Familiarity with Smart Turn or TMW software is a plus.
Experience in Warehouse Management and LTL dispatch.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements.
Education and/or Experience Required
Minimum of high‑school diploma or GED equivalent.
Some college preferred.
