Base Pay Range $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

As a Fulfillment Associate in our manufacturing warehouse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of orders. You will be responsible for picking products for production, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring that all orders are fulfilled in a timely and precise manner. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities and Duties

Order Processing: Accurately pick products from inventory.

Ensure correct items and quantities are selected based on the pick order sheet.

Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels. Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations. Report any discrepancies or stock issues to the supervisor.

Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damage before fulfilling orders. Ensure that products meet company quality standards.

Warehouse Operations: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow. Communicate effectively to resolve any issues or delays in order processing.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders processed. Update inventory systems to reflect changes in stock levels.

Shipping: Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely dispatch of orders.

Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to warehouse processes to enhance efficiency.

Training: Participate in training sessions to stay updated with best practices and new equipment.

Additional Duties: Assist with receiving and unloading shipments. Help with organizing and stocking shelves. Support other warehouse functions as needed.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

Education: High School diploma or equivalent, required.

Experience: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use computer systems for inventory management and order processing. Proficiency with spreadsheets in Excel is required. 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment, familiarity with basic warehouse operations and equipment.

Technical Skills: Inventory Management – understanding of inventory tracking systems and procedures. Equipment Operation – proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks; forklift training and certification will be provided. Quality Control – ability to inspect products and ensure they meet quality standards.

Soft Skills: High accuracy in picking and processing orders. Organizational skills – maintain a tidy and organized workspace, manage multiple tasks, and keep track of inventory. Time management – efficiently manage time to meet deadlines and productivity. Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors. Teamwork – collaborate with other warehouse staff and departments to achieve common goals.

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

Lift and carry items, sometimes weighing up to 50 pounds or more.

Stand and walk for prolonged periods on concrete floors.

Bend, stoop, and crouch frequently to pick up items or operate equipment.

Reach overhead and below shoulder height to retrieve items from shelves and storage areas.

Push and pull carts or pallet jacks loaded with products.

Climb ladders or stairs to access higher storage areas occasionally.

Use manual dexterity to handle small items and use tools with precision.

Perform repetitive tasks such as picking.

Visual acuity – good vision to read labels, check product quality, and use computer systems.

Hearing ability – hear alarms, signals, and instructions in a noisy environment.

Physical stamina – sustain physical effort throughout a shift, including periods of high activity.
