Job Description The
Supply Chain Analyst
reports to the Supply Chain Manager and plays a key role in supporting supply chain analysis, planning, procurement, and inventory management. This position is based at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in West Los Angeles, CA and is on a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days onsite per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays).
Role and Responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of product structures, manufacturing processes, and supply chain operations.
Independently analyze requirements and forecasts to suggest procurement and inventory strategies.
Exercise judgment in establishing purchasing priorities and authorizing purchase orders within delegated financial authority.
Generate month‑end inventory, cost of goods sold, supplier spend, planning and forecasting reports.
Lead supplier engagement, including quote evaluation, negotiation strategy, contract terms recommendations, and performance management.
Oversee supplier performance metrics and collaborate with the Quality team to implement corrective actions.
Apply strong analytical and advanced spreadsheet skills to plan requirements and forecasts in a non‑ERP/MRP environment.
Evaluate and adjust procurement plans in response to changes in demand, supply constraints, and market conditions.
Collaborate with Warehouse, Shipping, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure alignment of supply strategies.
Work closely with the Warehousing team to oversee inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with the Finance team and suppliers to resolve accounts payable discrepancies.
Suggest supply chain strategies and other process improvements to the Supply Chain Manager.
Perform other analytical or strategic supply‑chain related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
Ability to interpret complex data and make high‑impact operational decisions.
Experience in a fast‑paced office environment with multiple competing deadlines.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience in electronics manufacturing and supply chain management is highly desirable.
Self‑motivated with a focus on delivering high‑quality work.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when receiving incoming part shipments.
Pay Range (CA) $80,000 – $90,000 USD
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
