U109 Aircraft Spare Parts Specialist – 1st Shift – R10215126
Northrop Grumman is seeking an aircraft spare parts specialist to support flight test operations within the Mission Systems Organization, located in Linthicum, Maryland.

Description We empower employees to work on revolutionary systems that impact lives worldwide. As a part of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, you will help maintain and procure critical aircraft parts, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and meeting strict flight schedules.
Primary Responsibilities
Receive and process procurement requests for aircraft parts, ground support equipment, and maintenance spares from government and commercial sources.
Establish and maintain inventory levels for aircraft spares, hardware, and expendables, coordinating yearly Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) inventories.
Prepare purchase requisitions, blanket orders, and “L” orders; use the Inventory Locator System and vendor contacts to secure parts at the best price and delivery terms.
Maintain accurate procurement logs per aircraft and per charge number to support audit requirements and budgeting.
Identify potential problems, advise supervisors, and recommend alternative solutions when necessary.
Additional Responsibilities Determine availability of needed GFE spares, place and expedite orders, and consult Contracts Administration on procurement and disposition matters. Assist lower classified personnel as needed.
Union Status This is a SEA Union represented position.
Education and Experience
High school graduate or equivalent.
Four years of storeroom‑related work handling FAA‑certified aircraft parts and material.
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
Current experience in the aviation field (within the last two years) and proficiency with a Computerized Aircraft Maintenance Program Inventory software package.
