About The Role The Assistant Director of Nursing supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high‑quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. This role is ideal for a hands‑on clinical leader who enjoys mentoring others and contributing to a strong nursing culture.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and support comprehensive nursing care throughout the facility
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers on clinical goals and outcomes
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
Participate in the survey process and support survey readiness
Oversee infection control practices and quality assurance initiatives
Supervise, train, and mentor nursing staff
Assist with in‑service education and ongoing staff development
Requirements
Active RN license
Long‑term care or skilled nursing experience
Strong leadership and team‑oriented mindset
Infection prevention experience preferred
Experience training, educating, and supporting nursing staff
Schedule
Monday through Friday
Rotating weekend on‑call
