Federal Compliance Tester
– IBM Consulting Finance
Overview IBM Consulting Finance seeks a detail-oriented business controls professional experienced in testing policies and procedures within a U.S. Federal Government contracting environment. Expertise in FAR and CAS regulations is essential.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Understand policies and procedures, develop test plans, and perform testing of processes related to the accounting system, estimating system, and procurement system.
Apply knowledge of FAR and CAS to identify risks/issues and recommend remediation.
Maintain detailed records of testing performed, results, and actions taken.
Work independently under the guidance of the Compliance Manager to proactively obtain necessary data from internal and external sources.
Communicate findings clearly with stakeholders through verbal and written channels, and collaborate cross-functionally.
Utilize or quickly learn Deltek Costpoint and other relevant systems.
Preferred Education Master's Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
U.S. Citizenship and U.S. location required.
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or related field.
Experience or coursework in Business Controls and/or Audit.
General knowledge of CAS, FAR, and business system requirements.
Work experience with government contracting and CAS/FAR testing programs.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Experience in financial management of government contracts, compliance and audit.
Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Cognos.
Knowledge of AI and process automation.
