Job Overview Join our Advanced Behavioral Health Team in Red Hook, NY, to support recruitment, onboarding, and people‑operations activities for a mission‑driven organization that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide recruitment support and candidate management: manage ATS (iCIMS), coordinate interviews, draft candidate communications, post requisitions, screen resumes, assist with recruitment events, and more.
Coordinate pre‑employment and onboarding: schedule and track pre‑employment appointments, administer drug screens, verify references, submit background checks, monitor results, prepare files, and facilitate orientation setup.
Ensure compliance and record‑keeping: maintain compliance logs, partner with Manager to meet staff requirements, conduct periodic audits, handle confidential information per HIPAA and policy.
Provide general people‑operations support: assist with HRIS entry, collaborate to ensure smooth hiring experiences, deliver exceptional customer service, and complete special projects as assigned.
Schedule Part‑time position for 20 hours per week.
Salary Comm. with education and experience:
HS diploma: $22.50–$24.07 per hour
Bachelor’s: $23.50–$25.14 per hour
Master’s: $24.50–$26.21 per hour

Qualifications Education & Experience
Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Bachelor’s preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, onboarding, or people operations; nonprofit or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with state and federal background clearance processes (e.g., OPWDD, Justice Center, NYSED) a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Oracle, Kronos, ICIMS).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Commitment to supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
