What You’ll Do As a Structured Cabling Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of low‑voltage and network cabling projects, ensuring on‑time delivery, quality installation, and excellent customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
Project & Team Leadership
Manage project timelines, technicians, and deliverables
Conduct job walk‑throughs, generate estimates, and develop project quotes
Drive customer satisfaction while delivering high‑quality installations
Identify and secure new business opportunities
Technical Responsibilities
Install and terminate CAT5, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber cabling
Build and troubleshoot telecom and network infrastructure
Install and configure equipment such as routers, switches, modems, Ethernet backhaul, and related devices
Set up racks, patch panels, and network equipment, label and document all installations
Perform fiber and copper termination, testing, and certification
Install, maintain, and repair low‑voltage systems and related hardware
What You Bring
High School Diploma or GED (AA Degree preferred)
RCDD Certification (required)
BICSI Certification (required)
5–7 years of experience with structured cabling installation (fiber & copper)
3–5 years of project management and technician leadership experience
1–2 years of estimating and quote generation
Strong knowledge of TIA/EIA standards
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
Ability to work overtime or occasional weekends as needed
