Summary
The Continuous Improvement Administrator/Assistant supports the CI team by focusing on documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training records, and system organization. This role is critical to ensure CI initiatives are properly documented, tracked, and sustained across the organization.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, format, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and standard work documents
Support CI projects by tracking actions, timelines, and deliverables
Maintain CI documentation systems, including version control and document accuracy
Track training completion, certifications, and CI-related training records
Assist with preparation of CI materials, reports, presentations, and metrics
Support Kaizen and CI events with logistics, documentation, and follow‑up
Coordinate with Operations, HR, and Safety to ensure alignment of training and documentation
Help ensure improvements are standardized and sustained through proper documentation
Perform all other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
1–3 years of experience in an administrative, documentation, or process support role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); document management systems a plus
Required Skills / Abilities
Strong written communication and technical writing skills
High attention to detail and document control experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities
