Job Title: Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Key Responsibilities Project Management
Plan, coordinate, and execute continuous improvement (CI) projects.
Track project timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
Ensure alignment with business goals and production schedules.
Process Analysis & Optimization
Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies or waste.
Use tools like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or 5S to recommend improvements.
Facilitate root cause analysis (e.g., using Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys).
Data Collection & Reporting
Collect and analyze production data (cycle times, downtime, scrap rates, etc.).
Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance.
Report progress and results to leadership and stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.
Facilitate workshops and improvement events (e.g., Kaizen events).
Act as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth implementation of changes.
Training, Coaching & Change Management
Train staff on CI methodologies and tools.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
Mentor team members on best practices and problem-solving techniques.
Support change initiatives and help manage resistance.
Ensure new processes are standardized and sustained.
Document procedures and update SOPs as needed.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (Chemical Engineering preferred).
5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Project Management skills (planning, rituals, tracking, KPIs, stakeholder management).
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S or other CI methodologies.
Strong knowledge of process mapping, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools.
Six-sigma Certification preferred (Blackbelt or Master Blackbelt).
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Experience in working with large datasets, OEE Loss tracking, Statistical Process Control tools and advanced data analysis tools (Minitab, Power BI, JMP).
