Responsibilities

Help drive cross‑platform analysis and reporting for NBCU content spanning NBC, Bravo, and Peacock to inform content and audience strategy

Evaluate social performance for NBCU’s late night and syndicated content, assessing conversation volume, engagement, and sentiment to gauge audience response and inform strategy

Monitor and contextualize competitive streaming trends, identifying emerging titles, audience shifts, and marketplace dynamics

Collaborate with key business stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Programming, Strategy, Editorial/Merchandising) to design data‑driven insights that support strategic initiatives

Produce timely, empirical deep dives to address critical business questions and uncover new areas of opportunity

Communicate insights in a clear, visual, and narrative‑driven way to both technical and non‑technical audiences

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of analytical experience working with complex data sets and tools

Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel

Experience with Tableau or other data visualization platforms

Strong collaboration and team‑oriented mindset, with an aptitude and willingness to learn

Demonstrated curiosity, accountability, and ability to manage projects of varying scope with focus and purpose

Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights

Desired Characteristics

Prior experience in Media, Entertainment or Tech industries

Familiarity with modern data platforms and applications (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)

Experience with Nielsen data and audience measurement across linear and streaming

Experience with social analytics tools (e.g. ListenFirst, Sprout Social, Talkwalker, Brandwatch)

Additional Requirements

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time.

This position is eligible for company‑sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $85,000 - $115,000.
